- It’s a very nice and clean hotel,far from city but right next to mountains,when you see that view you always will be forgetting that you drive a lot of trains ???Breakfast is limited Staff are friendly but none of them speak English,come on guys at least 1 English speaker per duty ,which century we’re leaving to talk by translator
- Most important is the iconic location.. Just get out of Kameoka station and u can see the hotel infront of you. Awesome food, staff and amenities.The view around is wonderful. The public bath too is very good. You will definately love it.

We loved the location this hotel is right next to the Kameoka station only a 30 min ride to Kyoto and 15 mins to the Bamboo Forest-Saga Arishiyama station. Perfect and beautiful in the mountains here. We loved it!
The bed was hard and uncomfortable. Hard to sleep as felt like there was no mattress or cushioning.

New hotel. Very nice. Close to the station.
You get only one key for your room, and it’s an actual key. Very inconvenient.The pool hours are a bit weird. Closes earlier the the gym, but I guess the hotel cannot control it as it doesn’t belong to them.
The onsen was clean and well equipped with all the things you need.
